Why you need website links

Each link is considered a ‘vote’ for your site, and the more highly regarded the linking site is in google, the more that vote counts. As well as your own blog, start a blogger.com blog and link back to your own site here too. You don’t need to give this blog as much attention as your primary one (which should be on your own domain) but the occasional post here will provide another good link back to your site.

Releasing a new product or have something newsworthly to share? Create a press release and publish it on press release sites. Not only will it give you a quality link back to your site, you may also get some free media exposure.
