5 Posts In 5 Days Blog Challenge
Posted by: | CommentsOver at the Oz-e-wahm Private e-Networking Community we are having our first blog challenge. Thought we’d start with something quite manageable for this one. “5 Blog Posts in 5 Days” now that should be pretty easy!
In fact for me it’s already done, simple. I so love the ‘edit timestamp’ feature in Word Press, I sat down and wrote out all 5 of my Blog Posts in one setting and set them to publish daily for the next 5 days.
Blogging really couldn’t get any easier.
For networking and guidance with Online Aussie WAHM’s that are serious about their business visit the Oz-e-wahm Private e-Networking Group today.

Create Your Own Work From Home Business Opportunity
Posted by: | CommentsHave you been looking for a way to earn money from home? Looking for a way to create your own work from home business opportunity? Then take a look at your current skills, often this is the best place to start. By building a business around the skills you already have you don’t have such a steep learning curve and the chances of success are increased to some degree. You will be able to create your own working hours, and choose who you work with.
Creating your own work from home business opportunity isn’t as difficult as it may first appear. Sometimes it just takes a little time to sit down, with a pen and paper and to really think things through. Talk it over it with friends and family and ask them for some ideas on what they think you might be good at.
There are many ways to turn your skills into your own work from home opportunity. All you need to do is take a look at your interests and hobbies, your past employment and your current skills. Once you decide on something to do, get out there and let everyone know about your new venture.
Networking Group
Posted by: | CommentsWell I must say I am pleasantly surprised at the response we’ve received for the Oz-e-wahm Private Networking Group. I’ve been so busy conversing with, approving and listing new and potential members into the group that I think I will need to restrict new applications to a few days a month. We’ll see how we go over the next few weeks with it all.
We are all in the process of introducing ourselves and our websites, getting to know each other and what we all do.
Febuary 1st will be upon us before I know it and then we’ll be off and running with everything in full swing within the group.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to network in a private environment with like minded individuals, we have limited spaces in the various Business Type categories and they are filling fast. Read all of the details here.

Press Releases and Website Traffic
Posted by: | CommentsUs website owners or webmasters are always on the look out for more traffic, and rightly so, traffic is what helps to create a successful website.
So have you written a press release? A well written press release that is used effectively can be a great inexpensive alternative to paying for advertising, generating an influx of traffic to your website.
For a press release to be considered by media outlets it needs to be ‘newsworthy’, that is your business needs to have held a newsworthy event or your products may have overcome many problems for people. Maybe you sponsored a charity for a period of time, with a percentage of sales being donated to them.
Before submitting your press release be sure that it has been proof read, that it is formatted correctly and it is free of spelling errors, otherwise it will no doubt just be left on the pile, with the hundreds of other press releases they receive each week.
So what are you waiting for, grab your pen and start writing your press release!

What’s Your Website Doing For You?
Posted by: | CommentsIS your website working for you? Is it bringing in new customers, making sales? Is it monetized toprovide you some form of passive income? Do you have a mailing list that you regularly send information and offers too?
Or is it just an Online Business Card???
No doubt you have spent a considerable sum of money or time (if you built it yourself) on the website. When is it going to start repaying this debt?
If you have a website such as this, now’s the time to take a good look at it and what it ‘could’ really do for you.
Keyword Selectors
Posted by: | CommentsLast time we discussed how Search Engines Rank Pages and one of the ways they do this is by using the keywords in the meta tags for each page of your website. When you create a web page you are trying to gain maximum exposure to search engines for the content on that page.
One of the ways to do this is by the use of Keywords, that are placed in your meta tags. Take a moment to choose a page on your website and read through the content. What is your target audience for that particluar page of your site? For example if you had a scrapbooking site and the page was about creating a wedding layout, then the target audience would be scrapbookers creating wedding pages and albums.
So the aim here is to select appropriate keywords and use them both in the content and in the meta tags, or pull certain keywords straight from the content and place them in the pages meta tags. So for example, using the scrapbook wedding page, we may select the keywords, wedding album, wedding layout, scrapbook wedding to name a few, ensuring that the keywords are used in the body of the content.
You can also do a little hunting for keywords and see how often some of them are actually being searched for, here are a few sites that may assist you.

What Can I Do From Home?
Posted by: | CommentsI am sure that this would have to be the most asked question of mums that have young children. They really don’t want to return to work, but either need or want to earn some type of income and still remain at home with their children.
The first thing I would recommend you do if you are at this stage is to grab yourself a notebook. Start jotting down everything you can think of that you can do and everything that you love to do. Look back over your list and narrow it down to things that you know you can do from home.
Quite often if we start by doing something that we totally enjoy, we are much more enthusiastic and willing to learn and step out of our comfort zones.
From here you will want to decide if you need to get a work at home job or to begin your own work at home business. This is a big decision and one that needs some thought. Do you need to earn an income today? If your answer is yes then I would recommend you look at a work at home job, that way an immediate income will no doubt be guaranteed to you.
If not then the world is your oyster so to speak and we delve further into starting your own work at home business later.
