Add some interactivity to your website
Posted by: | CommentsAs the internet gets more and more competitive, building an interactive website is more important than ever. What is an interactive website? Simply put, it’s a website which lets its visitors respond and interact, rather than just a static website which doesn’t offer the opportunity for feedback or interaction from the visitor. To get you started, here are a few tried and tested ways you can boost your website.
Why you need website links
Posted by: | CommentsIf you want people to be able to find your website, being at the top of search engine results is key to your success. SEO is so important that there are companies and firms who’s sole purpose is to provide search engine optimisation services to other businesses.
While there are hundreds of variables that determine your search engine ranking, one of the most important is links. Each link is considered a ‘vote’ for your site, and the more highly regarded the linking site is in google, the more that vote counts. Here are a few tips on how to find and get quality back links to your site.

Can your customers find their way to the checkout?

No matter how good your product or service is, if they can’t find out how to checkout or contact you quickly, you’ll lose the sale.

Custom 404 pages, fixing Page Not Found
Posted by: | CommentsEver visited a website and got that awful looking ‘Page Not Found’ error message? 404 errors, thus named for the number assigned to that problem, are more than just frustrating for your website visitors. Mom Webs Hosting
Posted by: | CommentsMom Webs Hosting: I recently had to find a new web host for my sites. There are so many available today and the one thing that I was positive about was that I didn’t want to be shopping around for web hosting again for a very long time. I needed to be sure that I made the right decision when choosing my host.
My first hurdle; when it comes to web hosting I really don’t understand most of the technical jargon and how much GIG of bandwith or how many Mega Bytes of Disc Space I may need each month. All of that techy talk just confuses me no end so I need a host that talks me in a way that I will understand. A host that doesn’t get frustrated because I don’t quite understand what they are talking about all of the time.
That’s when I found Mom Webs. During my initial research I contacted them via their help desk, of which I had to register with before I could send the enquiry. Well I have no idea what I did but I completely messed up my registration and it wouldn’t allow me to log in. I contacted them immediately and with minutes they had responded and had reset my password.
From there my bombarding of questions began and every single one of my questions was answered in a timely and easy to understand manner. I was very impressed and obviously sold. There and then I ordered my web hosting plan with Mom Webs. The process took a couple of days but really all I needed to do was to provide my domain details and log in details and Mom Webs did the rest.
Now whenever I need to add a new domain to my account I just log in and add the details myself. I can even register the domain right there with Mom Webs as well, and being able to do everything in one place really makes me one happy girl.
Here’s to a long and happy relationship with Mom Webs. If you are looking for Web Hosting take the time to consider Mom Webs, they really have delivered for me. For more information about the Mom Webs Hosting visit Mom Webs today!

Take Charge of your Website
Posted by: | CommentsTake Charge of your Website: So I am curious as to how many of you WAHM’s have paid a designer to build you a stunning looking website only to find yourself not able to really use the site once you have launched? Do you have to pay someone for every little change or addition that you want to make your website?
Frustrating isn’t it!
I am urging you to take more control over your website and ultimately your business. There is nothing like having an idea and being able to implement it immediately on your website and not having to ask a soul about it. I tell you it is really quite liberating to not be at the mercy of someone else all the time.
So just have a think about this topic for a minute. Are you in control of your website or is it in control of you?
