I own 2 of the most widely used Website Design Software products available and consider myself relatively good with a computer. I am by no means a technical person, but I know my way around my computer! However both of these software packages left me more confused, bewildered and frustrated than I had ever been before. Now I guess I could've enrolled in a course to learn either one of these software packages but I didn't want wait for the six or so months it would've taken me to learn how to use them.

How wrong was I! XSite Pro comes with a full tutorial that takes you through the step by step process of creating your own website. Ok it is only a very basic website, but once you have worked through the tutorial and spent a few hours feeling your way around the software you'll never look back. The software also comes complete with a manual that is over 400 pages long. It's available at the click of button whilst you are in the program or like me you could print it out so that it is always at your finger tips. However to be honest the majority of the software is so simple to use that I only ever need to look at it every now and then.
Today I have built two websites completely from scratch, All Things Scrapbooking and Oz-e-wahm the only thing I pay for these days is for someone to design my banners. However you may already have the necessary software to do these yourself too.
Xsite Pro allows you to create multiple websites all within the one program and you can easily switch between them while you work. It also has it's own inbuilt publishing tool so you don't need to worry about downloading FTP software and learning how to use it (which is required to publish your website to the world wide web).
The one downside to XSite Pro is that the admin component of the website you create is only available on the computer that you have installed the software on. What does that mean exactly? You are unable to get someone else on another computer to log in to your admin area and make changes or update the website.
You can however export it onto a disc and import it onto a computer that has XSite Pro installed or if need be the website can be imported into Front Page or Dreamweaver.
XSite Pro also has a fantastic support program complete with a Knowledge Base to answer most of those FAQ's, to an email support desk and a users forum, where all the members are extremely helpful.
